UH Math Enthusiasts

Welcome to UHME!
University Houston Math Enthusiasts is a student group dedicated to promoting the mathematical curiosity of the UH student body.

Whether you're studying Art History, cell splitting in Biology, or inventing Sodoku Algebras, drop in on one of our biweekly meetings on campus or login to our UHME Yahoo Group for on going discussions.

We'll show you that mathematics is accessible to everyone (even Physics Majors).

Meeting Schedule for Spring 2006:

  • January 27th
  • February 10th and 24th
  • March 10th and 24th
  • April 7th and 21st

All meetings will be held at 1pm in AH 9 (in the basement of Agnes Arnold Hall). Refreshments will be provided.

Our meetings are generally informal and last one to three hours--come and go at your leisure!

If your schedule prevents you from hanging out with us, let us know when a better time would be.  There’s a chance there are others in your boat, and we can set up an alternate meeting time.

This is the opportunity for you to bring that math topic you have always wanted to discuss with someone, but couldn't find someone to listen.

If you have any questions about the organization, email us at UHME@math.uh.edu.
