- UH pays for the first two one-hour courses, so you can try out this career option for free.
- Gain experience teaching in a public school classroom beginning early in your college career.
- Complete both a bachelor’s degree in a math or science discipline and teacher certification in four years.
Intensive mentoring is another program feature. You’ll receive mentoring from the beginning at the university from a master teacher and in partner school districts from an assigned mentor teacher. And you’ll continue to be mentored after you graduate.
